About The Author

Being born into a family of six siblings with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, she's very family oriented. Her love languages are cooking, traveling, and spending quality time with loved ones.

Growing up as a ward of the state under her grandparents’ caretaking, R.C. experienced life with a unique perspective. Despite her circumstances and contrary to others’ belief, she knew she was destined for more. R.C. was determined not be the stereotypical young lady most assumed her to be. She strives to beat the odds, and find her own lane while remaining true to herself, grounded in spirituality and morals. These books are a testament to her journey. Each storyline is symbolic of the loops, twists, and turns she has experienced in this rollercoaster called life.  

After working over a decade in the financial sector, R.C. LeBlanc felt the nagging desire to tap into her passion for creating. She has always used journaling as a way to connect with her younger self. Feeling free in a space she called her own, R.C. expressed herself to the unjudgemental blank pages, noting lessons she’d learned throughout her experiences, jotting down things ranging from past experiences she would handle differently to things she would some day teach her own children.  Beginning the process of motherhood, the timing couldn’t be more right to publish her first book. As her walk in growth and maturity became more intentional, she found it robbery not to share her own experiences that helped her along the way. Holding these lessons to herself she considered would be a disservice to so many and a dishonor to her creator. This decision lead to the sharing of her story in the form of books. It was time to expand herself beyond the sacred pages of her journals, using her literacy skills to help connect with the youth of the world, hopefully inspiring someone like her younger self; letting them know that they’re not alone, that she’s been there too, including so many others, and that there’s light at the end of the tunnel.
